June 2020 Newa

This year has not gone as planned due to the virus lockdown.  We had just entered our first shows in April, which then got cancelled.  So we've just been at home like most of the rest of you.  Breeding has not been very fruitful so far this year, either, which is frustrating because the puppy inquiries have greatly increased.  My waitiing list has gotten so long, I had to stop taking names.  We do hope to have a couple litters, and hopefully will be able to start showing again.

We do have one offering, a special needs black boy, that we are going to place at no cost to the family/home that sends me the best application.  This puppy is five months old and has come down with hemivertebrate.  If you are not familiar with this condition, please look it up.  It affects the rear limbs so that the puppy wobbles and falls easily.  However, he doesn't let it slow him down too much, but you can tell he has a problem.  I placed one of these pups 20 years ago, and he went on to live a long, happy life.  That is why I don't want to put this puppy down, but find him a loving, understanding forever home.  He has a lot of life to live and a lot of love to give.  He is pretty much housebroken.  If you think you are the right home for this boy, send me all information about you, your family, your home and yard. Preference will be given to those with previous experience with this condition, and with the finances and willingness to give this sweet Pug everything he needs now and in the future (such as he may need a cart to get around with when he gets old).  Any questions, ask me.  Send email with subject "Hemi Puppy" to yerkiepug@yahoo.com.

I am interested in adding a pug to our home. We recently lost our baby due to congestive heart failure. He lived to the age of 12. He also had experience with blindness which caused him to be on medication for the last two years of his life. I am ready to become a mom again after my grieving period. I have a question , what is the cost of the pug.

I have sent you an email pertaining to this sweet pup. Have you made any decisions as to what you or who you will place him with. We are very familiar with medical problems in pugs and are able to care for this sweet boy with no problems. We live on 5 acres in a remote part of North GA along the boarder with SC. We currently have two dogs a pug and a boston terrier. They would love to have a baby brother in the family. As stated before we have dealt with birth defects or major health problems with many of our animals and do not shy away from long term care of them to give them an amazing life.

My fiancé and I would love to take this pug. I'll do everything to make sure he has the best life possible. I'll make sure he has needs meet, social time, and becoming part of the family.
